I have found it difficult to move my business forward recently and pondered why that might be. Having a conversation with a business coach has helped me put the finger on what I knew already: ‘Ce qui se conçoit bien s’énonce clairement’. These French pearls of wisdom roughly translate as; one can only express clearly what is clearly understood.
I thought I had clearly understood my product and my target market. You will notice from previous posting I am quite good at challenging others on those topics. However I am much less able to challenge myself, so it was not until someone asked me the questions I ask others and challenged me in the way I challenged others that it all clicked into place…
What that means in the short term is that I am taking the time to clarify my thoughts until I can be so specific my potential clients will only ask how does this work rather than why should I need my product. A waste of time you might say. Actually I think it is time well spent. A sharper message is more likely to be heard by the clients I seek to attract.

A clear vision will help lead the way! We often can get side tracked. It is good to stop, reassess and remember our beginning vision. Getting of f the track sometimes is not a bad thing, as long as you have a clear vision of where you are going next!
I do think a company should have a clear vision but be evolving and adapting with the times. Otherwise, you can be left in the dust!
