If you were a person I would be your biggest fan.
You, my friend, bring holidays, quiet roads and thinking time. Plum recipes in magazines, BBQ and days out.
I wear summer clothes (regardless of the weather), drink Prosecco with friends and make jam.
Above all, I enjoy the challenge of #Augustbreak2014 deciding when and where and how to take my daily photo.
My first #Augustbreak last year was different.
Like a creative game, I played with the technical challenge. And I took several photos in one go – as if ticking off a to-do-list.
Now I know what’s changed.
I invite the daily word to be my guide.
Watching, looking, observing, I see the world around me differently. It feels good.
Oh, and guess what?
It focuses the mind. Poses only two daily questions, what is important and what can I let go.
Dear August, you make life simpler and better, just how I’d like it to be, always.
